I grew up on 50's and 60's John Deere's plus a B Farmall on a farm in central Iowa where I lived. I had a large collection of 1/16th John Deere and International toys. I worked at Maytag in Newton, IA for 30 years and farmed for 15 years while my wife and I raised three kids. I was involved in mini-tractor pulling in the mid 70s and collected and rebuilt toys since then. Personally I prefer the older 1/16th toys which is what most of my collection consists of. Most of my collection I bought, traded and repaired toys for. Over the years I have rebuilt over 100 1/16th toys and pedal tractors, of these they are mostly JD and IH, but I've also worked on AC, Case, Oliver, Massey Harris, and a few trucks. I prefer mild custom tractors because it make them look more like the real thing. I hope you enjoy your visit to ToyTractorRepair.com!
